Helping Students Succeed
Computers for Kids helps build students up while keeping old computers out of landfills. We all know how important it is to stay connected online. Access to the internet has become an essential part of how we live and interact in the world today. No one understands this (and feels the pressure to remain connected) more so than students. However this can be a difficult need for some families to fulfill. On top of all of the monthly expenses, having enough money to spring for a laptop can be difficult. We believe that the cost of a laptop should not impair any child’s chances of success in the classroom. That is why we started Computers for Kids.
Computers for Kids is our way of helping students obtain every resource and opportunity possible in order to reach their full potential.

Laptops and computers are lifelines for kids both socially and in the classroom. Being able to share with their friends and take advantage of academic and research resources online enriches student’s lives in ways that truly have ripple effects into adulthood. From technological literacy to simply learning about the world around them, consistent internet access helps ensure continued success. As one of our many intiatives, Computers for Kids is your chance to help students reach their dreams.
Laptops for Learning, not Landfills
We all want that brighter future and Computers for Kids helps build up our community in so many important ways. Not only do students have a brighter future by staying connected in the classroom but we are able to make a massive reduction in waste! So often, when we upgrade the technology in our daily lives we discard the old without a second thought. Why? That old computer doesn’t do anyone any good when it is sitting in a landfill. Donating your old computers will keep them out of the dump. So think of your donation as a double investment in the future – one for student achievement and a second for the future health of the environment.

The process is pretty straightforward. Once you have a computer you are ready to donate (after removing all personal files and information), reach out to schedule a pick-up. We offer free pick-ups within five miles of our warehouse, located at 8400 W Colfax in Lakewood. You are also free to drop it off during our business hours.
